Diploma in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management
We have pleasure in informing you that FIMMDA in collaboration with Indian Institute of Banking & Finance has launched a Diploma in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management. In addition to the usual study material support that the Institute gives to its students, this course includes an e-coach (e-Learning) consisting of 8 courses. This e-coach has been structured in such a way that the candidate for the diploma will have hands-on practice in the application of various theories and formula of treasury management. The diploma jointly awarded by FIMMDA and IIBF will make it a unique qualification and a desirable one for those officers who are working in various facets of treasury.
The Institute had introduced "Diploma in Treasury, Investment & Risk Management" way back in 1999 in a distant learning mode. However, with passage of time, treasury function has now assumed greater importance and with mandatory implementation of BASEL II norms, risk management has become the central focus of banks. Financial derivatives have a key role to play in the management of treasury. Keeping all these developments in view, IIBF and FIMMDA have enhanced the course content of Diploma in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management to meet the needs of various banks. This diploma is designed to enable the candidate to acquire advanced knowledge in the field of Treasury and Risk Management.
