Ravindranath Gandrakota - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

FIXED INCOME MONEY MARKET AND DERIVATIVES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA - FIMMDA

He is a career banker worked at the State Bank of India for about 35 years. Joined SBI as a Direct Officer in 1985 and retired as Chief General Manager in July 2020. Worked in various capacities in Commercial Banking in areas of Retail, Trade Finance, Foreign Exchange, Credit and Treasury Operations both in India and abroad.

Experienced both in Forex and Rupee markets covering sales and investments, he was in-charge of Rupee investments of SBI and was actively involved in PE and Strategic investment areas of the SBI. While at SBI, he was active in FEDAI management Committee, was part of FBIL Oversight Committee and also Chairman of FIMMDA Board.

He is currently the CEO of FIMMDA, since September 2020.  He is also on the Boards of FBIL, and CDMDF Trustee Ltd.  He is also a member of key committees such as CoBoSAC of SEBI, Pension Advisory Committee of PFRDA and Financial Markets Committee of CII.

He is a postgraduate in Geology and holds a PG Diploma in Computer Applications. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
